Looking back on this trip

First of all, I was able to complete it without an accident. I think that this is a big factor that I was able to run without hesitation by the unreasonable plan, the selection of the motorcycle which had in my physique and ability, and satnav. This is also due to the comfortable road environment that construction is progressing in various places and is being developed every day.

Even this! I ran a long number of days and distances, but even after finishing the trip, I never get tired, I still want to run. I am proud to be able to say that "I am also a motorcycle rider", and I am immersed in complacency.

There were some small troubles due to changes in the weather and omissions in my plan, but by living while dealing with the constraints of the destination, I was able to rehabilitate the head and body that had been dull in the salaried life of the raised table for many years. In addition to running, having been able to have meals, washing, charging, to check weather, and hotel reservations every day became a good preparation for doing various things by myself even in life after retirement.

It was also a good opportunity as a training place to use advanced digital tools such as navigation. Even though all of them have evolved, there are still insufficient movements and functions, but I learned that it is also necessary to come to terms with them and master them.

As I ran long distances every day, I was impressed by the scale, technology, and maintenance of our roads, while also reminding me of the fragility of the country. We saw volcanoes, earthquakes, heavy rains, floods, traces of disaster recovery everywhere, and construction sites. In addition to the natural deterioration of the road surface, tunnels and bridges, I realized that Japan is destined to fight these in the future. I think the cost is also a major challenge in the future. Also, at this age, I came to think again that I should not forget my gratitude to the people involved in these days and nights.

Japan was a beautiful country when I ran around the whole country. Many of the Superb View Roads proposed by the Bike JIN magazine are selected by dynamic topography. Various effects of crustal deformation due to the hollowing out of complex underground plates, volcanic activity, abundant precipitation and wind, erosion by tidal currents, and the activities of the earth could be observed as various variations in this narrow country. My whole country is a geopark! It was a department store with a strange view and a superb view.

I was able to see many scenery that impressed not only the Superb View Road but also the general road and the highway connecting them. They are landscapes created by the lives of people in various places. There were many places where I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the fields made according to the various topography and climate learned at the school, the majesty of shrines and temples that make use of the topography and protect faith, power plants and chemical plants, such as alluvial fans, basins, riverside terraces, valleys, etc. Often, the beautiful scenery of Japan is described by words such as "beautiful view that is not like Japan" and "scenery like a foreign country", but I understood well that there are many superb views in our country that are as proud as anywhere else in the world. You can describe the scenery of a foreign country as "it is a beautiful scenery like Japan".

I was used to driving motorcycles since I was a boy, but I learned and learned again in my own way with this intensive riding. I felt that the recent way of power of high-performance engines, smooth movement of the sass, grip of the tire, etc. have greatly improved, and every day running while searching for a better maneuvering method was very fun. In particular, I felt that the way of traction power from the state of tilting the machine has become different from a long time ago. I was able to enjoy the pleasure of winding and running through bad roads while illusioning as if my technique had improved dramatically.

There are a lot of reflections, too. I always kept the photos and recorded the diary on the day, but I didn't decide what to record properly, so when I came back and read it back, it was a messy diary. In particular, I didn't write down the details of my expenses, so I didn't know the exact breakdown later. Because we visited without taking traffic stop information for each route, there were cases where we returned at the entrance of the route due to snowfall, freezing, construction, volcanic gas, etc. I was able to enjoy the path leading up to there, and I was able to leave a picture at the entrance, but the passing of the six routes has not been achieved. The Bike JIN magazine lists the contact information for each route, so we should have used it for advance confirmation. A tripod is essential for solo photography, but the one I used this time was too small. In the case of a scenic road around the mountainous area, you will be impressed by the lake and rural scenery spreading below from the parking lot and observation point along the way. With a tripod with a height of about 1.3m that I brought this time, I couldn't create a composition with my figure or bike in an angle overlooking the scenery. It should have been a tripod about 1.7m even if it was expensive and bulky.
